Spotlight on: Margaret Hamlin

Watercolour painter Margaret Hamlin was born in London, and though she wasn't able to complete her studies at the Hornsy College of Arts, she never stopped painting, and is now able to do so full time, having sold several paintings to private collectors across the world.

It's not really hard to see why, I just love her work, and use of colours.

Here are a few of my favorites, but be sure to visit her website to see all of her beautiful paintings, or to purchase any.  There are originals and signed prints available.

"Tomorrow's Fanfare"
"Fresno Heat"

"Cave Mystery"

Unique Artist Leonid Afremov's Amazing Paintings

Ooooh what a treat I got as I was stumbling through the internet tonight and found the works of Belaruse born artist Leonid Afremov.  Specialists have concluded that his style is completely unique, impossible to replicate.

I, for one, can be counted an instant fan.  His use of colors is stunning and the scenes he creates transport me, I wish I could enter the paintings.

What do you think?
